Caruso’s signature Italian Cheese Torta is a unique frozen hors d’oeuvres consisting of a layered cream cheese blend with an herbed pesto spread, sundried tomatoes, and pistachios covered in provolone cheese.

The tortas are hand-crafted using a meticulous five-step process and are gluten-free. They are great with crackers or sliced baguettes. They are also delicious when stuffed in a mushroom cap and baked, or as a filling for chicken or pork chops.

They are frozen and can be kept in the freezer for six months well-wrapped. The tortas make a perfect appetizer to keep on hand for any occasion. They can serve 10-15 people or can be cut to serve a smaller group. Each torta has a label with the ingredients and instructions for preparation.

Caruso’s Italian Cheese Torta also makes a great hostess or teacher’s gift.
